The tubes of the split air conditioner must not be smaller than 2 meters, thus preventing the resonance and vibrations caused by the compressor from being amplified and transmitted by the piping, thus reducing noise in the environment.
The liquid and steam lines must be individually insulated with elastometric or shielded insulation, and the part of the drain exposed to the air in the air-conditioned environment must also be insulated until it enters the wall. The copper and drain line assembly must be protected against bad weather by wrapping it with vinyl tape.
