The process of creating a vacuum in the pipeline is mandatory to remove moisture.
- Start the procedure by installing the vacuometer in a double stage vacuum pump
- Connect the low manifold hose to the service valve
- Connect the central hose of the manifold to the vacuum pump
- With the service valves closed, open the manifold discharge register
- Turn the pump on until it reaches a pressure of 300 to 500 micro Hg
- After reaching the vacuum, close the manifold discharge valve and turn off the vacuum pump
- Break the vacuum by opening the liquid line.
