Circuit Breakers Operation

The circuit breaker is inserted into the circuit with a switch. The bimetallic relay and the electromagnetic relay are connected in series. When the lever is activated, the circuit is closed, which is locked by the triggering mechanism, and the current circulates through the thermal relay and the electromagnetic relay. If there is a small long-term overload in the circuit, the bimetallic acts on the trigger mechanism, opening the circuit. In the event of a short circuit, the electromagnetic relay acts on the triggering mechanism, opening the circuit instantly.
