Heat pipe collector

They are collectors manufactured with a copper tube internal to a glass tube where the air is evacuated, minimizing thermal losses, but allowing the passage of solar radiation. Welded to the copper tube there is a fin, with special paint, to transfer the absorbed heat to the fluid inside it, which in turn evaporates and exchanges heat with the upper bulb of the collector where the water to be heated really passes and condenses back to the finned tube by gravity. It has an excellent performance in processes with temperatures above 80 ° C.
