What Consumer Defense Code?
It is a set of laws that establish rights and obligations for consumers and suppliers to prevent consumers from suffering any kind of harm. In the consumer relationship, the code understands that the consumer is the weakest part. This is because those who sell are experts in what they do and, therefore, have information and knowledge that those who buy does not always have. For example, before proposing a contract, the supplier has already had time to consult specialists and to prepare a contract that meets their expectations. On the other hand, the consumer does not always understand what is written in the contract and, when he understands, does not have the same knowledge of the supplier to discuss. Under these conditions, the consumer is always the most fragile. For this relationship to be more fair is that there is the Consumer Defense Code.
