What is the engine room and the care we should have with them?
The engine room is a space to exclusively allocate the compressors and their refrigeration components. It is therefore not a suitable place to stack boxes or debris, and should always be free of debris or dirt. The person in charge of this service should be advised of the precautions to be taken with the equipment in order to avoid accidents. It should be easy to access, with no obstructions preventing the passage, to allow the people involved in maintenance to be easily and quickly carried out when necessary, but easy access by unauthorized persons should be avoided. It needs to have a good ventilation and air circulation, to allow the perfect operation of the equipment. Without good ventilation in the engine room, the compressors will be forced to work at high temperatures, which may lead to a reduction in their service life.
