The condenser fan is located below the unit. If no fan is defective, the freezer will not cool properly, it will work
continuously or will not work at all.
Test the motor fan with a digital ohmmeter set to the appropriate range. Disconnect the electric wires from the fan motor and connect a digital ohmmeter sensor to each terminal of the fan motor.
If the digital ohmmeter indicates from 50 to 200 ohms, the motor is working properly.
If the digital ohmmeter indicates more than 200 ohms, the fan motor is defective and must be replaced.
When you are working on the fan motor, make sure that the blades
clean and unobstructed. If the blades are bent, straighten them
carefully with pliers.
