What is an electric circuit?

Electrical circuit is the closed path through which the electric current circulates.

It consists basically of the following components:
Generating source;
Maneuvering device;
Conductors;
             Consumer (load)

Types of Electric Circuits

Series Circuit:
  In this circuit all consumers are subject to the same value of electric current intensity, as there is only one path to the current.

Parallel Circuit:
In this circuit, all consumers receive the same voltage value, ie, the voltage is constant for all other subsequent loads.

Mixed Circuit:

It is part of a series circuit, part of a circuit in parallel, ie: SERIAL / PARALLEL
