Evacuation and dehydration of a refrigeration system

In order to carry out a good evacuation and dehydration of the system, always use a suitable vacuum pump, high vacuum pump, and never use the compressor, since the dehydration of the system is based on lowering the boiling point of the water to a Temperature below room temperature through the depression generated by the pump, when using the compressor this depression is not sufficient causing the boiling point of the water to remain above room temperature. In addition to this measurement, it should always be possible to evacuate the high and low pressure sides of the system, thus reducing the time of this operation and achieving the best result, reaching a vacuum of up to 500mmHg (29.90 "Hg - ), Never with less than 20 minutes at this level.
Note: It is recommended to install a check valve at the pump inlet to prevent the oil being sucked into the refrigeration system if the pump is stopped.
