RELAY START (ELECTROMAGNETIC)
The relay functions to start the compressor by turning the compressor auxiliary winding on and off.
START RELAY TEST
With the aid of a multimeter select the function measure resistance make sure the existence of continuity between the terminals of the relay coil in the vertical position. Also make sure there is no continuity between the power terminals and starting auxiliary.
As soon as you turn the relay with its top down, there must be continuity at the terminals.
Note: An operational test is advisable because the relay may have faults in operation such as: Disconnecting the compressor auxiliary after or before the ideal, causing the relay to shut down by the thermal protector due to the increase in current (amperage).
